The Changarawe Project is a wonderful example of what can be achieved through persistence and generosity.

Our aim is to do a small thing extremely well and help, in a sustainable way, a few people who would otherwise have very little. The Changarawe Project aims to help people to help themselves – through education and their own initiative.

There are many ways in which you can support the Changarawe Project. For example:

- Come to a fundraising evening or a bazaar. The Project has regular events where Tanzanian goods are available. Come and buy beautiful things, man a stall or sell tickets.

- Provide The Changarawe Project with a stall at your fete or bazaar.

- Commission beautiful cotton, hand-made bags made by women in Changarawe for your shop or business. (Embroidered logos possible.)

- Contribute in kind. Help us to keep our costs down by donating your services (e.g. design, printing) or products (eg. paper, flights).

- Make a standing order to either the Zawadi School or the Nigel Lloyd Fund. £40 will support a childs schooling for a year through the Nigel Lloyd Fund.

- Run the marathon or jump out of a plane for The Changarawe Project!

- Spread the word. Bring this site to your friends’ and family’s attention. Bring new people to our events!

If you would like to get involved in any of these ways, or have your own ideas, please do contact us.
