To support fundraising, we organise regular bazaars where we sell our own
beautiful textiles, which are handmade in Changarawe village, and a range of other products from Tanzania.
A number of hand-picked traders also exhibit at our bazaars, which have a strong focus on ethically sourced, fair trade products. A Changarawe bazaar is the perfect place to do all your present shopping!

On Saturday 8 December, we will be participating in the Green & Ethical Christmas Fayre at Holy Trinity Church, Clapham. Please pop along to say hello and buy your Christmas pressies from Changarawe!
We love a fundraising challenge – especially if it’s something that has never been tried before!
In 2014, we set the challenge of climbing Mount Kilimanjaro as many times as possible in 24 hours….all without leaving the UK. How? By climbing Ben Nevis around the clock, with 4.5 ascents of Ben Nevis being equivalent to 1 Kilimanjaro! In total, 5 Kilimanjaros were climbed during ‘Kili On The Ben’, raising £15,000.
In 2017, we organised ‘Vicky On The Wast’, in which an intrepid team of fundraisers crossed Wast Water in the Lake District as many times as possible in 48 hours in an attempt to ‘cross’ Lake Victoria. Almost £20,000 was raised during this challenge!
Watch this space for our next challenge, and if you have an idea for please get in touch – we’d love to hear from you!
